Microsoft Releases New Windows 10 19H1

Microsoft is releasing a new build of Windows 10 19H1 to Insiders today. The company is releasing build 18342, which comes with some gaming-related fixes, and a bunch of other different fixes.

Build 18342 comes with some fixes for gaming on Windows. Microsoft earlier encouraged Windows Insiders to test some of its new Windows gaming tech with State of Decay on Windows 10 19H1, and it’s releasing further fixes today to improve the experience. The company wants Insiders to try the game out once again and report back in order to help improve gaming on Windows. But here is the thing, though: it’s still incredibly unclear what exactly Microsoft changed, or what’s this new “Windows gaming technology”.

The new build also introduces the ability to access your Linux files from the File Explorer.

And that’s really about it. Microsoft said that PCs with the Intel64 Family 6 Model 142 and Intel64 Family 6 Model 158 chipsets will not receive this new build due to an issue with Connected Standby, by the way.
